G&W McTaggart Ltd was formed by brothers George and Willis McTaggart from Dalry in 1946 and the brothers built their first house shortly after. The brothers grew the business by ensuring their operations served their local community, creating jobs and opportunities across Ayrshire.
This sense of responsibility and sensitivity to the communities we help build remains central to the way we do business.
In March 2017, Chairman Ross McTaggart retired after 52 years’ service, satisfied that the future of the business was in capable hands with a sustainable long-term strategy. However, there are still several members of the McTaggart family working within the business.
McTaggart build sustainable homes and partnerships which go beyond bricks and mortar, adding tangible value to the communities we help create.
